After another equipment outage briefly disrupted arrivals at Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday, travelers may be left wondering why this keeps happening and what it means for them.

In the air traffic control recordings obtained by ABC News, you can hear an air traffic controller telling pilots that "approach lost all the radars."

Greg Raiff, founder and CEO of Elevate Aviation Group, told Fox News Digital that under-invested infrastructure and major staffing shortages are disrupting flights at EWR, and the immediate solution is to decrease the number of flights while increasing recruitment.
