It was the signing Alex Bregman that started the chain reaction that led to the Boston Red Sox trading Rafael Devers, so there's no way they'll also trade Bregman, right?

After missing over a month of action due to a quad injury, Alex Bregman had a positive update on Monday at Fenway Park.

First, though, Bregman is looking to return to the roster and provide a spark for an underperforming team that enters Monday’s series opener with the Reds at three games below .500 (41-44). The Red Sox are hopeful the healthy returns of both Bregman and Masataka Yoshida will catalyze an offense that has often looked dead in the post-Devers era.
