The Denver Nuggets are mired in quite the odd time. The Jonas Valanciunas to Europe saga isn't complete yet, but he's not even the only Nuggets player departing. Vlatko Cancar was reported earlier in the week as leaving to play in Italy, and he himself confirmed that news in a podcast appearance.

The Nuggets landed the former first-round pick in a trade that sent Dario Saric to the Kings, but the deal cannot be completed until the new league year begins July 6.

His imminent decision to ditch the U.S. for Europe puts a damper on Denver's excellent roster-building run this summer, as the Nuggets look to retool their roster around three-time MVP starting center Nikola Jokic, power forward Aaron Gordon, and guards Jamal Murray and Christian Braun.
