The Valkyries faced criticism for not telling Julie Vanloo she was cut before she skipped Belgium's EuroBasket title celebration to return to the U.S.

Julie Vanloo stood outside Barclays Center waiting the final minutes to clear waivers. She had flown to New York a day earlier after getting cut by the Golden State Valkyries on Monday.
