Mercedes boss Toto Wolff talked Lewis Hamilton and more as the team launched their adidas kit for the 2025 F1 season

Mercedes is trying to re-invent itself following the departure of Lewis Hamilton, according to team principal Toto Wolff, who says it was the right time for both parties to have a new challenge.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff is remaining cautious about his team's chances in F1 2025. Toto Wolff says he would “rather not talk too much” about Mercedes’ chances heading into the 2025 F1 season. Mercedes are hoping to mount a more consistent challenge in 2025 after a frustrating campaign last year.

In place of the 40-year-old, Wolff opted to sign 18-year-old Mercedes junior Kimi Antonelli for 2025, with the Italian youngster now gearing up to compete in his first full-time season in the pinnacle of motorsport.

The Briton took part in a Pirelli tyre test for 2026 alongside Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri

The Italian driver in the form of Kimi Antonelli has admitted that there is a realization that he is replacing Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes which is not only a privilege but a responsibility too.
