The Saints had second interviews with Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver last week. Interim coach Darren Rizzi and former Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy are also reportedly in the mix for the job.

Hodges is the latest coach to leave the Saints, who are conducting a head coaching search. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak departed for the Seattle Seahawks a day earlier to take the same role. Former coach Dennis Allen, who was fired in November, also recently became the Chicago Bears' defensive coordinator.
