Jarrod Bowen's sixth goal of the Premier League season gave the Hammers a halftime lead but Chelsea sub Pedro Neto leveled the score before Cole Palmer coaxed an own goal out of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Chelsea rallied after the break to come from a goal down and beat West Ham on Graham Potter’s return to Stamford Bridge. The home side were out of sorts for large periods and Potter’s well organised visitors took advantage an a deserved lead at the end of the first half through Jarrod Bowen.

Hammers boss Graham Potter returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time since being sacked in 2023. A victory for the visitors would put them above both Spurs and Manchester United in the table.
