Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes are eliminated from bowl contention after a 29-22 loss to West Virginia, marking another losing season for the head coach.

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are 3–7 this season with two games remaining. It wasn’t long ago that the Buffaloes finished 9–4 and had Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. They also had the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner in Shedeur Sanders.

Colorado athletic director Rick George issued a show of support for Deion Sanders this week. On his way out the door after stepping aside as athletic director, he shut down any suggestion that the Buffaloes’ third-year coach is on the hot seat.

Deion Sanders was a two-time Super Bowl Champion, an NFL Defensive Player of the Year and a Hall of Famer on the field. Now, Sanders is doing more off the field and on the sidelines as Colorado's head coach.
