Ukraine launched its biggest ever drone attack on Moscow, killing at least two workers at a meat warehouse, injuring 18 others and causing a short shutdown at the Russian capital's four airports, Russian officials said.

The assault, which the mayor called the largest on Russia’s capital since the war began, was a reminder of Ukraine’s power to strike as its president proposes an air truce.

US President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is set to hold talks on a US-Ukrainian ceasefire proposal. The Kremlin says Ukrainian forces have nearly been ejected from Russia's Kursk region.
