Amazon Studios has been searching for the new James Bond, with multiple hunky actors on the shortlist to be 007.

Jack Lowden, Jacob Elordi and Callum Turner have each been rumoured to be playing the iconic British secret agent.

Interestingly, the casting director for Slow Horses, Nina Gold, has also been overseeing Amazon MGM’s search for the next James Bond. And there’s another intriguing connection — Lowden’s wife, actress Saoirse Ronan, recently told Empire that she would like to play a Bond villain.

The search for James Bond is over. The screenwriter for the next Bond film, Steven Knight, confirmed in an interview with Radio 4’s Today program that the iconic character has finally been cast. Producer Amy Pascal previously suggested that they'd find their new Bond before the end of the year.
