Tens of thousands of protesters mustered in cities and towns across the country on Saturday to sound off against the Trump administration.

On Saturday in towns and cities in all 50 states, protesters took to the streets to express their opposition to Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the never-ending transgressions of second Trump administration — as well as show their support for federal workers,

The "Hands Off" protest planners aimed to hold rallies in 1,200 locations, including in all 50 US states. Thousands of people turned out in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC, among other cities, on Saturday. Protesters cited grievances with Trump's agenda ranging from social to economic issues.

Demonstrators expressed outrage over recent cuts to federal agencies ranging from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to National Parks.

Demonstrators packed the streets in cities and towns to rail against government cutbacks, financial turmoil and what they viewed as attacks on democracy.

"The fight for democracy is not a left versus right issue," one organizer said. "It's an up versus down issue."

Protests were held in multiple Pittsburgh-area counties as part of the national “Hands Off” movement. According to a release, Hands Off is an all-in movement for the pro-democracy and pro-worker movement.

More than 1,200 “Hands Off!” demonstrations have been planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and fair-elections activists.
