Three suspected thieves allegedly tried to get away from police in Richland this week in an SUV with no tires. Witnesses called 911 on Monday night after spotting a Buick Acadia driving on its rims along Interstate 182 near Richland’s Queensgate area, said a Benton County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
At the time, Stephen Bytheway was wanted in Montgomery County for allegedly masterminding a violent burglary in which police say he tortured a homeowner with a blow torch, court records show.
