Australia have gone for a complete overhaul, making five changes in their playing XI in a bid to test out the players before the Champions Trophy

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named a 16-man squad for the upcoming two-match ODI series against Australia. The squad is almost similar to the one that played the ODI series in New Zealand last month, with the exception of seam-bowling all-rounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe, who has been left out.

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and elected to bat in the second and final one-day international against Australia at R. Premadasa Stadium on Friday. Australia is preparing for the Champions Trophy tournament later this month in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
