Just before 4 am, DeKalb County police were called to the ramp from I-675 north to Interstate 285 east. When officers arrived, they found a crash scene with eight vehicles, including two tractor-trailers. The crash caused chaos for drivers in the area. Triple Team Traffic said lanes were shut down for hours.

A man died after a crash Tuesday night in Lehigh County. County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release that the man was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 8 p.m. in the area of Route 100 and Schaefer Run Road in Upper Macungie Township. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 94 near the Detroit Metro Airport on Tuesday afternoon, falling from the freeway onto the street below and backing up traffic. Authorities said the driver suffered only minor injuries.

A motorcyclist has died after hitting a tractor trailer trying to merge on a Nashville interstate. Preliminary investigation shows Derek McIntosh, 36, of Smithville was merging onto I-24 East from Harding Place in his motorcycle when he hit the side of a tractor trailer.
