The high winds Friday impacted the entire Northeast Ohio region — including power outages, fires, and downed trees.
According to FirstEnergy, as of 1 a.m., more than 2,000 customers across Northeast Ohio were without power.
“Strong winds can make it harder for crews to restore power and may slow restoration efforts," according to FirstEnergy.
Multiple counties in Northeast Ohio had been under a Tornado Watch until 8 p.m.
