Eight people are dead and four people remain missing following historic flash floods that ripped through Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country during the Fourth of July weekend. On Thursday, July 10, the Travis County Sheriff's Office identified some of the victims recovered, with several still pending.

Leander Mayor Christine DeLisle said more communication from Travis County was needed to ensure residents have services.
