The former Mariners superstar was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame with 99.7% of the vote (named on all but one ballot) and will be enshrined this coming July. He'll also have his No. 51 retired by the Mariners in a ceremony this summer.

CC Sabathia will have a New York Yankees logo on the cap of his Hall of Fame plaque and Bill Wagner will have the symbol of the Houston Astros. The hall announced the decisions for all five of this year’s inductees.

Recently-inducted baseball Hall-of-Famer Ichrio Suzuki will throw the first ceremonial pitch for the Seattle Mariners Opening Day against the Oakland Athletics.
