Former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava is expected to transfer to UCLA, a source briefed on the process said. Iamaleava officially entered the transfer portal Wednesday with a “do not contact” label. He left Tennessee last week after attempts to rework his contract with a Tennessee name, image and likeness (NIL) collective went public.

The now-former Volunteers quarterback had over $2 million coming his way from Tennessee this season before electing to enter the spring transfer portal in hopes of a bigger deal elsewhere.

Colin Cowherd announced Iamaleava will play for UCLA. "I am told — moments ago — Nico Iamaleava is going to UCLA," Cowherd said. "Family still claims it’s not about the money, it's about the Vol football offense. I was not told what the Bruins are paying."
