Orlando guard Jalen Suggs has left the arena in a wheelchair after an NBA Cup semifinal loss to New York. Suggs injured his left hip during the game on Saturday night.

The Orlando Magic cannot seem to catch a break as they watch yet another one of their star players go down with injury. Jalen Suggs exited Orlando’s 132-120 semifinal loss to the New York Knicks with a left hip injury after attempting to play through visible discomfort in the third quarter.

The New York Knicks and Orlando Magic meet Saturday in the NBA Cup semifinals in Las Vegas, Nevada, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET.

After a slow start, the Magic have finally found their footing and are yet to play at full strength over a long stretch of games.

Not only did that game improve the team’s real record to 18-7 and allow them to play for the questionably important NBA Cup on Tuesday against the Spurs, but it also concluded the season series with the Magic.
