A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday morning in Philadelphia's East Germantown neighborhood. Police responded to reports of gunshots shortly after 5:30 a.m. Thursday on the 200 block of East Rittenhouse Street. Police arrived on the scene and found the teen unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the face. He was pronounced dead at 5:47 a.m.

One man is dead, and another is in police custody, after a shooting erupted in Philadelphia's Nicetown neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

An investigation is underway after police said a man was shot outside of a church in North Philadelphia overnight.

It happened around 9:19 p.m. Wednesday on the 1900 block of Margie Street. Police say officers found the man shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect is wanted in the shooting that critically injured a Philadelphia school safety officer early Sunday morning during a road rage incident.
