The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office rejected an immigration detainer for a criminal illegal immigrant accused in a felony hit-and-run that resulted in the death of a young boy.

A new Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, will target undocumented Somali immigrants, a federal official told CNN on Tuesday.
