A new Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation targeting undocumented Somali immigrants has begun in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, a source with knowledge of the plans told CNN Wednesday.

President Trump has recently targeted Somali immigrants with hostile rhetoric, particularly those in Minnesota.

In response, the prime minister of Somalia said he would not give Trump's comments importance and suggested they should be ignored.
