Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced today the approval of a significant state tax incentive package that will support the largest job creation and payroll project in Ohio’s history.

Anduril Industries, a tech company that makes defense products, is headed to Ohio, the state announced Thursday.

Anduril’s factory just south of Rickenbacker International Airport is expected to generate an additional 4,500 jobs among suppliers, services and indirect employment. Overall, the Ohio Department of Development projects $2 billion in economic activity and $800 million in tax revenue, according to a press release.
