Sony has cut Bend Studio contractors with some being let go after February 14, due to the cancelation of the studio's live service project.

Sony has canceled yet another unannounced game-service. Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games were behind their development, and one of them was to be a new installment in the God of War series.

Last week, Sony canceled two unannounced live-service games that were in development at Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games. The Bluepoint game was reportedly a live-service God of War game, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. Bend Studio’s live-service game remains unknown.

Sony PlayStation have cancelled two online multiplayer games, including one based on God Of War and one from Days Gone developers.

Hiroki Totoki is now the CEO of Sony Corporation, as Hideaki Nishino is now the sole CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
