Legal immigrants detained at Escambia County Jail say lack of Spanish speaking translators is causing unnecessary fear and delays and complications.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Latino organization says there are not enough translation resources for inmates who only speak Spanish at the Escambia County Jail.

The Escambia County Corrections Department offers a GED program to inmates in the Escambia County Jail, which can open up more opportunities after incarceration and help reduce recidivism rates.
