More than 7,000 direct citations of slavery-law precedents continue to guide lawyers and judges, more than 160 years since slavery was outlawed in the U.S. according to a project at MSU's law school.

The Ann Arbor campus has had more than 115,000 prospective first year and transfer students looking to enroll for the fall term.
