The Pittsburgh Steelers’ blockbuster trade for Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith in return for Minkah Fitzpatrick has garnered mixed reviews. However, former Steelers safety Ryan Clark loves the team’s aggressiveness.

The Steelers intend to utilize Jalen Ramsey on the boundary, in the slot and even at safety. This plan allows the Steelers to have Joey Porter, Darius Slay and Ramsey all on the field.

Enter the Steelers conundrum at safety. Pittsburgh lost a three-time first-team All-Pro safety in Fitzpatrick, but have three starting cornerbacks in Ramsey, Darius Slay and Joey Porter Jr. The Steelers also signed Juan Thornhill at safety this offseason, but have a major void to fill with the loss of Fitzpatrick.
