Two Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority employees were arrested for allegedly leaking footage of last week’s fatal midair collision near Reagan National Airport. The crash, involving an American Airlines jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, killed 67 people.

Created by Congress over three decades ago, the agency is responsible for managing both Reagan National and Dulles International airports.

Two airport employees have been charged after they allegedly made an unauthorized copy of records belonging to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority a week after the deadly crash near Reagan National Airport involving a military helicopter and an American Airlines flight.

Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, 21, of Rockville, Md., was arrested and charged with computer trespass on Jan. 31, one day after an American Eagle flight from Wichita, Kan., collided with a Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River as the flight was preparing to land at Reagan Airport. All 67 people aboard both aircrafts in total are presumed dead.
