GASTONIA, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A raccoon in a Gastonia neighborhood tested positive for rabies, Gaston County officials say. On March 9, Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement received a call around 5:45 p.m., saying a dog had killed a raccoon in the 2200 block of Robinwood Road.
