Raiders minority owner Tom Brady is involved in his team’s search for a coach. Fox broadcaster Tom Brady will be working postseason games involving one or more of the candidates to be hired to be his team’s next coach. The situation raises Brady’s conflict of interest to a higher level.

Pierce was hired as the Raiders linebackers coach in 2022 under then-head coach Josh McDaniels. In October 2023, Pierce was named interim head coach after McDaniels was fired. In January 2024, he was officially named the Raiders head coach.

Brady is completing the first season of a 10-year, $375M deal with Fox and seemingly hasn't yet gotten into any trouble related to calling games while serving as a minority owner of a franchise.
