Arsenal are extremely busy in the summer transfer window, having completed a signing while negotiating deals for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke and Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres

Gyokeres has already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal and has been awaiting a club-to-club agreement. He is now expected to join Arsenal in a deal worth €63.5million (£54.86m), with a further €10m (£8.64) in add-ons.

Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas has emphatically revealed that his wantaway striker Viktor Gyökeres will be served with a “heavy fine” and forced to apologise to his teammates after missing the start of pre-season training in an attempt to accelerate his exit this summer.
