After a nail-biter vote in the Senate, the House is taking up President Donald Trump's giant tax and immigration bill. It's expected to face some issues, especially among fiscal hawks as the Senate version is projected to add roughly $1 trillion more to the deficit than what the House passed back in May.

For more than 20 hours, lawmakers worked through amendments to Trump's bill, beginning on June 30, and into the morning of Tuesday, July 1.
