Houston's Reed Sheppard will see plenty of time at point guard during the NBA;s summer league to show how he can lead a team

Former Tennessee star Kennedy Chandler will play for the Houston Rockets in the 2024 NBA Summer League. The ex-Grizzlies guard looks to reignite his career after being drafted in 2022 by the Spurs and playing 36 games as a rookie.

Texas professional teams are rallying together to support flood victims in the state with massive donations and gifts.

The NBA announced Monday that it has partnered with the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and the NBA Players' Association to provide $2 million in support toward relief efforts for those affected by the devastating flooding across the Texas Hill Country.
