Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Malik Beasley is no longer the target of a federal gambling investigation, his attorneys told m ultiple outlets on Aug. 22. It was reported in late June that Beasley was under investigation for gambling on NBA games while he played for the Bucks during the 2023-24 season.

Federal investigators no longer consider NBA free agent Malik Beasley a target in their gambling probe, Beasley's attorneys told ESPN. Attorneys Steve Haney and Mike Schachter said they've had what the report called “extensive” conversations and meetings with Eastern District of New York authorities.
