The Nuggets return to action Thursday (7 p.m. MT) after a seven-day hiatus. Also expected to return is Russell Westbrook, who missed the last seven games before the All-Star break with a hamstring injury that he suffered two days after Malone chose to start him over Christian Braun.

On top of this announcement, Westbrook is no longer on the injury report and will return to the lineup -- which Denver has seen plenty of success when he is in the starting lineup. With a 36-19 record, the Nuggets are No. 3 in the Western Conference and are continuing their ascension as a contender and in the West during their current run.
