The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo has revealed plans for a redevelopment of some of its wildlife habitats ahead of its centennial in 2029. The zoo will expand expansion its Exploration Asia zone next month with larger and improved habitats for some of its more prominent residents including the snow leopard, red pandas and red-crowned cranes being completed by the summer of 2026.
