Jan 10, 2025 · In File Explorer right click on This PC, Map Network Drive. The name of the share is \\GOFLEX_HOME\GoFlex Home Backup . Put in the credentials (user and password) from when you first set up the GoFlex. If you don't know these, you'll have to reset the password. I'd be glad to assist you. As far as the Seagate Dashboard/Memeo Instant Backup software is concerned, the software is really not going to be of any benefit to you.

May 25, 2018 · I need help getting the new Windows 10 Update to detect my networked Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Home Drive. The drive is currently connected by an ethernet cable to my router and is available to the network. Since the Windows 10 update, my laptop can not see it. I know the drive is functioning correctly as I can see it and access it from my Mac.

Oct 15, 2018 · Someone posted the method to turn the version on again by unticking a box using Windows Power Shell(Admin) I followed it and hit Restart and nothing had changed. Then read something about accessing the Seagate drive with a direct USB cable but needed the Paragon Drive softeware from Seagate. I downloed and tried that - No joy there.

When I connect it into my laptop which is using Windows 7 Home Premium,it was detected only in Device Manager> Other Devices at Computer Management. So i can't format it, can't roll back it too.
