On October 2, 2006, a peaceful Amish schoolhouse in Nickel Mines, PA, was shattered by tragedy. A gunman took the lives of five young girls and injured five others, leaving a tight-knit community in grief. Yet, in an awe-inspiring act of grace, the Amish chose forgiveness—supporting the shooter’s family and healing through faith.
