The Operation DESERT STORM ground campaign began on 24 February 1991 after thirty eight days of air attacks on targets in Iraq and Kuwait. GEN Schwarzkopf, with a coalition of 31 nations, unleashed all out attacks against Iraqi forces along the coalition line to force Iraq out of Kuwait.
