Meet Rachel, our 22-year-old female Indian crested porcupine! Rachel currently lives behind-the-scenes, but she loves going on walks around the Zoo with her care team. Back in 2018, Rachel was diagnosed with a tumor and needed a CT scan. Thanks to our partners at MedVet New Orleans, they assisted our veterinary team in providing consulting and imaging for Rachel's CT scan. After the scan results came in, Rachel had surgery to remove the tumor. Now Rachel is thriving, enjoying her days eating app
