Things aren’t going too well for McDermott on Shell’s Crux project. Long after the “incident” on Crux, the rig is still stuck on the pile and it ain’t going anywhere in a hurry. But not to worry as McDermott have sourced bargain priced labour in Batam to fabricate a Spreader Bar to lift their rig off the pile. Or maybe not. It may remain stuck well into the New Year. Three rockets fired from Gaza struck locations near Bedouin communities in the northern Negev, while another rocket landed near Tel Aviv.
