Canoeing in an ALLIGATOR-INFESTED swamp | Camping in the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge

After much needed rainfall across the entire Okefenokee Swamp last weekend, refuge fire managers were able to conduct fuels treatments on two of the interior islands in the Okefenokee - Number One and Mitchell Islands were successfully prescribed burned for a total of 1226 acres.
