If she’d created a language inspired by Gaelic I would be way less harsh but as it is, she used Scottish Gaelic, and she did it badly. I’m a wee bit sick of fantasy authors using Celtic languages to spice up their books when they have no link to the language, and do no research. Minority languages deserve respect. #fourthwing #rebeccayarros #booktok #scottishgaelic
