ANTI-TANK ROUND VERSUS SHERMAN Here’s a quick look at the damage an anti-tank round can make of an armoured vehicle – in this case a Sherman tank. Even with the extra armoured plate welded to the side of the vehicle the round has had no problem entering the crew area. We wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere near this! This Sherman is one of many vehicles, guns, boats, and WW2 objects on display outside the amazing D-Day Omaha Museum at Vierville-sur-Mer. It’s a must visit on any trip to Normandy.
