This year, Ukraine’s Global Teacher Prize winner is Ruslan Shalamov from Kharkiv! 🎉 Shalamov teaches at a school supported by Finn Church Aid (FCA) and was chosen from over 2,000 student-nominated candidates in a televised ceremony where the top ten candidates participated. For the past two years, Ruslan has played a key role in FCA’s education reform project in Eastern Ukraine, developing a new national curriculum based on the new Ukrainian school reform. The curriculum is being piloted in 30
