Lyme advocate part three: today was the day that we got to speak with Congressional staff about Lyme disease. The common theme was the difficulty in being tested in Alabama, the medical gaslighting that we received “that there is no Lyme disease in Alabama” and the fact that we had to cross state line to get treatment.
