With the death of Robert Skutch, the founding generation of those who brought A Course in Miracles into the world has passed. While I didn’t know all of them, I knew most of them. I think they will be remembered for many, many years to come. I want to take this opportunity to remind all Course students of what a blessing they bestowed upon us, how well they performed their function, and how much goodness and peace they brought into the world. Today is the first day of 2022, a kind of blank slate on which we will write our hopes, fears, creativity and possible neuroses. All of those will be mixed together, combined with world events, to create our experience of this new year. Today is a day to celebrate possibilities and to empower ourselves to embrace them.
