At the risk of boring you all please do be aware at Crantock. It's only a 5.2m tide today and its high at 3.37pm so another 10 minutes. The spring tides last weekend were a huge 7.5m. The tides push and pull very quickly. Moreso when there's a big swell running. The course of the river Gannel when it hits Crantock beach has changed enormously since 2014 and can change on every tide. You could be paddling up to your ankle then step into the river and not even realise. Please be careful and watch
