A little bit of history of this building…In the late 1930’s a bowling alley was built downstairs.The pin setters would sit up on the ledge and them jump down to set the pins back up by hand.One of my customers is 94 and remembers setting pins for 10 cents a game.Many names and graffiti on the walls from the old days.(And a lot of chew spit)Four beautiful lanes are all still here under the plywood. I love the history and stories of this place.I have a lot to tell myself after all these years.😆 |
