Is learning how to dive on your bucket list? Do you work part-time and want more adventure and purpose in your life? Joining the Navy offers you three different ways to be a diver. A ship's diver, a port inspection diver, or a clearance diver. As a Naval Reservist, you can work part-time at your home unit (of which there are 24 across the country) or even full-time at one of two diving units on either coast. There were a couple of new Canadian “species” on display at the Vancouver Aquarium today! 🐟🐠🐡 The ship’s divers of HMCS Vancouver had the unique pleasure of diving within the Strait of Georgia Exhibit, in the Pacific Canada pavilion. This exhibit displays local marine life that you would see if diving nearby in the Strait, which includes sea life like rockfish, anemones, urchins, octopi, halibut and more! These kind of dives allow the divers to interact with the local flora and fauna! 🤿🦀🐙

🇨🇦 During a deep-water training exercise focused on locating and marking sea mines, a diver with #FleetDivingUnitAtlantic made an unexpected ally. 🐬 Despite the surprise, the diver stayed focused, completing the task within a tight window. The dolphin? It stuck around for the entire dive, even giving a friendly bump and surfaced alongside our member. Moments like these remind us of the incredible environments we operate in and the unexpected friendships that can form in the deep. 🌊 #CAFOpera
